In order to promote more and better representations of women in video games, we need to address the issue at its core, which is the lack of gender equality and inclusion in the gaming industry. Creating graphics that encourage women to join the production and development of games will be our primary goal.
Digital News Magazine: Showcasing Role Models.
The digital news magazine informs readers of the women relevant in the gaming industry. Biographies of successful role models reveal what inspires them. News articles feature ongoing projects from aspiring developers. Resources will invite readers to learn more.
Convention: Support for Playhers.
The convention is where influential, diverse female speakers in the gaming industry give lectures. Their powerful speeches will inspire the next generation of designers, developers, and engineers. Audience members will get the change to visit demo booths and meet with role models.
Learning academy: Materials for Leveling up.
The learning academy is a website where female users can sign up for classes on learning how to make games. After signing up, students will see the interface of the online course. Users will learn from many informative modules, have discussions with their peers, and get tutoring help if needed.
