Prototypes for Digital Products

Describe the process of user testing the clickable prototype.

User testing the clickable prototype was a great way to figure out what works and what doesn't work on the site. Users were able to point out flaws that I hadn't considered before. Some flaws mainly dealt with the tutoring section. 

It was apparent that there was a lot of confusion during the task of making an appointment with a tutor. Users didn’t know where to go once the appointment was made. In order to address this, I created an urgent icon next to a dropdown menu that shows where to attend the appointment.

Additionally, users felt it was important to add the appointment date to the calendar, so I created this option as well.

Describe anything new or interesting that you learned in this process.

I am still learning how to use Adobe XD and this was good practice. The program is user-friendly. I was able to connect the wireframe screens relatively easily. I hope to use the program more in the future.
