Type & color Explorations
How are your typeface and color choices working (or not)?
I believe my choices are working appropriately as they convey a gaming vernacular. I experimented with italic fonts for titles and decided to keep it because it feels more dynamic.
How might you add visual interest to the deliverables using type/color?
I have added visual interest by making the brushstrokes have a more digital look. I may add in handwriting elements later on. If they look too busy, I will take them out.
What is something new or interesting that you learned in this process?
I have learned how to make the chapter opener type look more glitchy with Photoshop. Though the process takes longer, I think it is achieving the effect I've been looking for. I will continue to experiment with covers and icons.
